Medical Problem Solving (Summer School)

In-person.  For current Kamehameha students.  Tuition: $400

Prerequisite: B or better in Biology or Honors Biology and Chemistry or Honors Chemistry.  Successful completion of Physics is preferred. Open to Grades 11-12.

The JABSOM Medical Problem Solving program is an intense three-week program offered at John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM) for Kamehameha Schools Kapālama Campus juniors and seniors interested in healthcare. Students participate in the activities and assignments required of first-year medical students. Additionally, students are exposed to the perspectives of current medical students and practicing physicians relative to career choices in the various health fields. Half an elective science credit awarded. Students selected by KS Science Department Chair and faculty.
