Back from Spring Break!

Welcome back to school!  I hope you all had a great Spring Break.  This cycle Papa Olakino starts up again.  Keep Mrs. Bright in your prayers, because she’s not back yet, so no Music class.  We have Chapel and Early Release on April 9.  Also, book fair is this cycle.  Just 4 more cycles, so take care of your business.  If you need to redo the Ch. 7 test, come and see me to make an appointment.  I will be coming in early the week of April 7, but I only want students who are doing a redo test to come in before school.  Keep practicing for our talent show on April 15.  Practice and see me to tell me the time and give me any music that you need.  April 15 is coming up fast!  For Math, we are learning about estimating fractions and adding and subtracting fractions.  Practice fractions on IXL.  Here is our tentative schedule for cycle 20:

    • I figured out how to put fractions in google docs. When you click INSERT then Equations (with the pie squared on it) a little box will pop up under the formatting bar, it will stay there even after you are done with the equation. There is a button that says new equations and that is for making a new equation. then next to it, when you are in an equation, there are problem things on it, You click the one with the x, square root sign, parenthesis, and boxes (it will say Math operations when hovering over it) and then a drop menu will appear, the first thing there is a button showing a fraction with a as the numerator and b as the denominator. Click that and a fraction will appear where you were typing and you can fill in the numbers.
