Happy Chinese New Year! This is a busy cycle with two Huaka’i rotations, parent-student-teacher conferences, Uncle Jin teaching us about homelessness in Hawai’i, and Mrs. Leong teaching us about native plants and animals. I hope you all enjoyed your 3-day weekend and ordered your Huaka’i shirts. On Feb. 5 and 6 we will be having our Huaka’i rotations at Ka’iwakilamoku. Since we are finished with our 4 formal genealogy lessons, we will be learning about native Hawaiian food. Don’t forget to turn in all of your Huaka’i permission forms by Feb. 7. Here’s a tentative schedule for this cycle in Math. I apologize that it’s late. Last week was a very busy week. Have a great cycle!

Homework: 1) Sign progress report Due Day 2 (2/3)
2) Type Ko’u Mo’oku’auhau (with pictures/graphics) Due Day 5 (2/6)

Extra pono points: What is your Math goal for this semester and what have you done so far to work on it?
