  1. Since we have Okinawan background we had to clean the house. It was tough and I hated it but I liked the outcome. We also had dinner at my relatives house and we had stuff like mochi and shashimi.

  2. My family has a Japanese tradition to make mochi for the new year. On New Year’s Eve, we go to my grandma’s house to eat soba. Then, on New Year’s Day, we go over again to eat ozoni, or mochi soup. It’s a lot of fun!

  3. I really enjoyed hanging out with my family and friends. Except when I went to waimanalo for a karaoke night on Christmas night. I’m glad to still be able to hear! I also went on a sleepover with keely, went to a christafari concert with her, she slept over at my house, we went to the pearl harbor pool for youth ministry, and went to ice palace in January.

  4. We popped our own Airiels and had the shells rain down on us then the next day we played base ball for my uncle mo’s b day

  5. Mrs. Alamida, I checked my IXL usage log because I did some over the winter break. The least I remember was 4 or 3 for most strategies done, right? Because my usage log said that I did 8 IXL skills over the break.

  6. We have a Christmas and New Year’s tradition. It isn’t cultural or anything like that, but we do go to this place most of the time. Since my Uncle Adrian knows a guy who works at Pah-Ke’s Chinese restaurant in Kaneohe, we go there all the time with my Mom’s side of the family. We also go to the graves of our relatives who have passed on, before we eat at Pah-Ke’s.

  7. On new years eve, my family makes hot chocolate and takes turns playing Just Dance. We also pop fireworks and after 12:00 am, we had to clean up the fireworks on the road.
