Queen Lili’uokalani…A Celebration in her Honor

From Today's Newspaper

The 5th Graders will be studying all about Hawai’i’s last monarch, Queen Lili’uokalani throughout the next few months because our annual 5th grade play will be based on her life.

Jaren holding up the article on the Festival

If you and your ohana have free time, take this opportunity to spend the day at Lili’uokalani Park for the festival to honor our last Queen. There will be ono food, fun games, hula dancing (300 dancers dancing to the same song “Lili’e”), live music entertainment, original handmade-crafts, and during the hula performance, 50,000 orchids will blanket the park in its beauty! Join in the celebration & pay your respect to hanai sister of our beloved Ke Ali’i Pauahi! What a great way to spend quality time as a ohana and boost the learning for the 5B haumana! Send your photos and snapshots of you enjoying the festival to me, I’ll post it here.
