Bet you’re wondering “Who is this?” “Why is Mrs. Ah Hee posting this?” “How does this connect to our FISH!bowl?” Well, let’s begin with this… Ms. Maiers is an international award-winning educator, speaker, trainer and consultant. She has been a teacher for over 20 years and shares her message of “You Matter” with our global society! She has wrote many books and travels all over the world to offer her inspirational messages. In other words, she’s a “Big FISH!”
Now…you can imagine the surprise when I opened my email to find a message from Ms. Maiers in my inbox! :0 At first, I thought “did I read correctly?” Am I seeing things clearly? Is this THE Angela Maiers, but as I read closely, yep! All of the above was true…Ms. Maiers saw your wonderful Genius Hour➗2 projects and loved your “Pops of Genius!” She is requesting that we do a guest blog post on her blog that is read worldwide to share it! Technology surely opens the window to global connections huh!
Why us you ask? The answer is crystal clear…BECAUSE YOU MATTER! Sharing YOUR passion, YOUR excitement, YOUR love with others will surely encourage others to do the same! What you do matters! As we always discuss during Morning Meetings and throughout the day, 5th graders can make a difference in our world! Hand In Hand, We Can!
