Last Ohana Alert for the year: May 12-23rd

Hi 5B Ohana,

Let me begin my last Ohana Alert by saying MAHALO for all your support and assistance throughout this past school year!  So many great memories as we worked together to help OUR children thrive!  The students and I surely couldn’t have accomplished all that we did without your constant, unwavering dedication for a wonderful 5th grade year filled with learning, laughs, and love!  Mahalo nui 5B ohana and a hui hou friends!  If I can be of further assistance in the future years, do not hesitate to call on me…you know where to find me! Of course, in the 5B FISH!bowl…together we can change the world!

Mon., May 12-Day 1: All reading work on genres and million word goal for the year due today.  Please bring in your vocabulary!

Tues., May 13-Day 2:  Last day for Guidance

Wed., May 14-Day 3:  Håweo Luncheon today!

Fri., May 16-Day 5: K-12 Convocation today!  Please wear dress whites! Huaka’i after convocation.  Flyers went home on Friday (some students may have left without grabbing one) Please join us if you can at 4 Miles Beach as the 5th graders do one last service learning project for the year with beach clean up!  Students need lunch and cold drinks!  Flyer will have more details 🙂

**NOTE: Please save images and important projects by either airdropping to another smart device or to ebackpack.  Students are able to access ebackpack next year. 🙂  Save those memories!

Wed., May 21-Day 2:  iPad ROLL IN 🙁  iPads will be turned in today.  All earbuds, stylus’, blue pouch, and black travel bag will be returned today along with the iPad.

Thurs., May 22-Day 3:  Ho’oulu Transition Ceremony at Lunalilo Hale at 8:30am.  5th graders only will be having a potluck party in the afternoon from 12:45pm.  Sorry, students only as they would like one last moment together to celebrate with both classes to reflect, reminsce, and bond together as they prepare their journey upstream to Kula Waena.  Thank you for your understanding!  We would appreciate any and all donations for this festive occasion!

Fri., May 23:  LAST DAY OF SCHOOL!  Water Play Day!  Bring your swim clothes and towel to start the summer fun!  Summer begins!  A Hui Hou!
