Mon., Mar. 31-Day 5: Last day to prepare all your presentations for Makawalu Hilo! REMINDERS TO STUDENTS: 1) Bring all/any artifacts (we discussed this in class-remember our morning meeting to kōkua our team-if you volunteered to share an artifact with someone else, donʻt forget) to school to set up today! 2) Have your video welcome in front the green screen ready for the final publishing 3) All posters will be put up on our bulletin boards today…bulletin boards are already in class-you DO NOT need to purchase boards 4) You will be sharing a really brief summary of your legend that connects to your feature article at presentation- please review it! 5)Make sure that all iPads are in class with a full charge! Celebrating the March Birthdays today at lunch.
Tues., April 1-Day 6: Wear your WHITE polo today! Your choice for the bottom, but please wear your white polo shirt-to show unity! Papa ʻElima presents….Makawalu Hilo! Students from Kula Haʻahaʻa and ohana will be visiting today to learn about the wahi pana of Hilo. We welcome parents at 1:30pm-2:40pm 🙂

Fri., April 4-Day 3: Papa ʻElima celebrates together for all the hard work done for Makawalu Hilo @12:45pm…any donations for paʻina welcome!
