As the hustle and bustle of the holiday season is now upon us, we have so much to do…finishing assignments (or grading assignments), christmas concert to prepare for (or getting the costumes all prep’d and ready), decorating, and celebrating so much excitement and anticipation fills the air for what is yet to come!  We, at Kamehameha Schools, are so blessed (the latest example…how are you reading this post? Ipads!), whether we are a student, a faculty or staff member, or ohana member…we ALL have so much to be thankful for because of the great vision and tremendous aloha Ke Alii Pauahi had for her people.  What Pauahi did many years ago is proof/evidence that what you do in the present, can change our world in the future!  Click on the video below to see an example of how an act of kindness can make a difference.

http://How can we all make a difference?  Your homework for the upcoming week will be to make a difference in our world during this season of giving and document it with your ipad.  Have a discussion with your ohana, decide together…as their assistance may be needed.  Come to school on Monday, Dec. 9th with the ideas that your ohana has discussed and will be putting into action.  The above video is an example, be creative, be committed to make someone’s day, and mostly, big or litttle… BE CARING!  Let’s go out and “Change our World!”  Remember some of our past learning as you plan…”What about the rest?” and “When given the choice to be right or be kind, choose kind!”  E Hana Püalu Kåkou!  Together, We Can!
