Pheew…the month of November sure flew by! Dive in and catch a glimpse of the last day of November for us in 5B! We started with Trimester #1 Awards Assembly at Lunalilo Hale to honor many of our FISH!mates! Hoʻomaikaʻi to Xander, Karl, Sophia, and Candace who received the Principalʻs Honor Roll Award for maintaining a 3.50-3.95 GPA for this trimester! Congrats to Lehia and Brianna for earning the Hawaiian Value Award for the trimester for exemplifying the meaning of Kuleana. Great job to Ryzen, Sarah, Kaili, Karl, Candace, and Brianna for coming to school everyday too! That is a feat in itself…thereʻs a bad cold bug going around campus!
We also took our annual flu shots…maybe that will help to keep the germs at bay! Iʻm glad to report that all FISH! took their flu shots like champions! 🙂
Hereʻs the first week of December to jot down…
Mon., Dec. 2-Day 4: The Pennies for Pauahi campaign kicks off today at morning piko. Donʻt forget to donate your pennies to help keiki in need of scholarship to attend preschool! A handful, a bag full, a roll, anything and everything is much appreciated…by the way, if youʻd like to donate, but donʻt have pennies…any denomination will be accepted with much gratitude! Mahalo in advance for giving from the heart with ALOHA! Students will also be starting their SBCP writing assessment on feature articles today. The students will begin brainstorming ideas on how to deck our halls…well at least our class door for our Christmas Decorating contest!
Wed., Dec. 4-Day 6: 
It is EARLY RELEASE DAY AT 1:30PM. Please make appropriate advance arrangements.
Thurs., Dec. 5-Day 1: Please bring in Santa Hats, Reindeer antlers, elf hat, etc… to take a holiday photo in school. If you have an extra, weʻd love to borrow for those who donʻt have any.
