What a great way to start the day!
Aloha e nā Haumāna a me nā Ohana,
What a glorious day today is! As I arrived at school, this is what was there to greet me as I approached my classroom. It made my day!! It reminded me of the ʻolelo noeʻau: Aloha aku, Aloha mai! (If you give love, you will receive love). Uncle Keni planted it a year or two ago because it my favorite flower here on campus and this was the first flower! (Amazingly, I did not kill it with my black thumb!) All of the Uncles work hard to care for the grounds & buildings, letʻs remember to mahalo them for caring! We are all truly blessed to be a part of the Kamehameha Ohana! The beautiful flower made my day, Iʻm off to pass it on and make someone elseʻs day now! Join me please…find someone to mahalo, maybe smile to a stranger, hold a door open, give a big squeezing hug to your keiki…whatever it may be… Share the ALOHA becauseTogether, We CAN Change the World!
