The students all had the day off on Friday while the teachers participated in the 2nd Annual KS Tech Slam: Digital Natives, Digital Producers… Some of the FISH! gave up part of their 3 day weekend to come to school and take on the role of teacher! Tab, Keawe, Paige, and Travis were asked to share their expertise on the Book Creator App. During this breakout session, the students got to teach teachers the “how to” of using this wonderful app. The teachers got to try it with guidance from the students. The students were able to compose & design a presentation, create a step by step tutorial of the app, instruct and assist and answer any questions that teachers may have. This is the highest level in Bloomʻs Taxonomy, “Creating!” Hereʻs a look at the FISH! Kumu in action, swimming strong to teach well.
