Ohana Alert Week of March 19-23

Reading is IMPORTANT! …At all ages! Keep on Reading!

Hi 5B FISH! and Ohana,
Mahalo for coming to Student-Led conferences, it was wonderful to celebrate the successes of each student! Hope your spring break was a blast! Enjoy your last day! Here’s the upcoming week at a glance:
Mon., 3/19: No School: Faculty In-Service. Keep on reading! Keep your self-set reading goals in mind, as well as the 9 genre requirement for trimester #3. Be ‘Onipa’a…don’t forget the vocabulary & two words translated in Hawaiian! Practice our finale song & Queen’s Prayer too! Music on blog header.
Tues., 3/20 Day 6: Welcome back to school! If you haven’t brought in a costume for the play, please bring it today. We are still in need to long skirts and dresses for the girls.  Homework will be at a minimum to allow all students to memorize their lines and to practice during the next two weeks.
Wed., 3/21 Day 1: Christian Education rescheduled day for today at 12:45-1:30
Thurs., 3/22 Day 2: All Grade 5 Music practice right after ‘oli
Fri., 3/23 Day 3: We begin practicing at Lunalilo Hale for the 5th gr. play.
Heads Up for the next week:
Tues. 3/27 & Wed., 3/28: Dress Rehearsals for play at Lunalilo Hale
Thurs., 3/29: The big day! The 5th Grade Play: E ‘Onipa’a @ 8:30am. 5th Grade Ohana invited! Bring your cameras! We hope this will be one for the memory books! Cast Party to follow!
