FISH! Food for Thought-What is a True Friend?

True Friends.

What is a true friend? Dr. Thompson posed that question to the 4th & 5th graders when he visited Kula Ha’aha’a. He shared the importance of having a true friend. He shared that people don’t need 5, 10, 50, or 500 friends, people just need ONE true friend to be happy. So often students think that having quantity is better than quality. (Dr. Thompson, a Nationally renowned Psychologist doesn’t think so.) I’ve heard of people with hundreds and thousands of friends on Facebook. Are they all “true” friends?

Team FISH!…here’s some questions to ponder and comment on after clicking on the link above as well as reflecting on our “talk story” time with Dr. Thompson: 1) What is a “true” friend? 2) What do you do to show that you are a “true” friend? As usual, before hitting send, reread your comment again. Make sure that you have answered the questions clearly and revised it. Please double check the typos (typing errors) too! Your comment should be 1-2 paragraphs…no more, no less. I can’t wait to read your comments.  Comments must be posted by Wed., Jan. 11, by 9:00pm.
