Po’alua 8/31/21 – Day 4

• Birthday Celebrations: we will celebrate our kula ha’aha’a friends that have birthdays in June, July and August with a birthday treat at school.
• Nā Lei O Kaiona Practice for grades 1-2; 2:45p – 3:45p @ Keaka Play court; students will be escorted to play court by kumu. Parents pick up students between 3:45p – 4p.
• Papa 4 Robotics Team practice; 2:45p – 4:30p @ Kina’u POD; parents pick up students by 4:40p.
• Papa 4A – PE Swim Session. 4A Haumāna – be mākaukau when you arrive at school with your swim clothing, towel & slippers.
• Parent Volunteers ~ complete daily wellness check, wear mask & check in at front office

**Yearbook Picture taking day!

• You should have paid for your picture packet online OR send keiki to school with the order envelope & payment for Action Photos. KSH Kumu will NOT handle payments.
• Make sure your keiki is mākaukau to get their picture taken for the yearbook. Remind them to SMILE!
• **REMINDER: KS school uniform required (any color), NO hair accessories (flowers, ribbons). Rubber bands & headbands are OK but MUST be in school colors (blue or white) OR black.

ALOHA WEAR DAY FOR K-5 HAUMĀNA, STAFF & FACULTY

• Aloha attire is island printed wear, same as May Day attire.
• Aloha shirts with school uniform long pants, shorts or denim jeans with no rips or tears. If shirt is tucked in a belt must be worn for students in Gr. 1 – 5.
• Aloha wear dresses are ok; but no spaghetti straps or halter tops. Straps must be two inches wide or more)
• No tight fitting dresses
• shorts, skorts, skirts or dress length must not be shorter than 2″ above the knee while standing.
• uniform shoes, NO rubber slippers
• sandals must have back strap and heels should not exceed 1- 1/2″
• Aloha wear is optional, should keiki choose not to dress in Aloha wear, KS school uniform is required.

• School doors open at 7am – this is the earliest that your keiki can be dropped off at kula in AM.
• School ends at 2:30pm; for those keiki being picked up at kula, please pick up by 3pm.
