1 cup of margarine or butter
2 cups of sugar
6 ripe bananas, mashed
4 eggs, beaten
2 ½ cups of flour, sifted
2 teaspoons of baking soda
Optional: ¾ cup of walnuts
Directions:
- Cream margarine and sugar.
- Add bananas and the beaten eggs
- Sift the remaining dry ingredients.
- Blend the creamed mixture but do not over mix.
- Optional: Mix in walnuts.
- Pour into foil lined loaf pans.
- Bake at 325 degrees for 45- 50 minutes.
- Turn the pan around after 35 minutes.
