Hereʻs an update to our post: We cheered on Kyra and Tabitha on stage as they performed their brilliant speeches! Paige did a wonderful job of M.C.ing too! FISH! & ohana continue to swim strong! 🙂
All of the students around our campus at Kula Ha’aha’a have been practicing their speeches from a multitude of genres to prepare for the Semi-Finals which took place today! The haumåna of 5B are no different. Our High 5 worked hard over the weekend to hone their skills to be ready to present today. All of them did a wonderful job of using their facial expressions to tell the story, adding in motion, making their voices dance with excitement, and memorizing a ton to tell a great legend that engaged the audience…and judges! The judges were impressed!
And then….there were two! Our 5B team will be well-represented at the Finals of our Annual Kula Ha’aha’a Speech Festival on the grand stage at Lunalilo Hale on Wed., Jan 30th @ 8:00-9:30am by Kyra, sharing her informational mo’olelo of Lihikai and Tab, with her gripping legend of the Boiling Pots. Congrats to both! Come and cheer them on, we’d like to invite our ohana to join us! You won’t be disappointed! 🙂
