How many dimes?

How about this one? Fill in the blanks, create your own problem, then solve it. Here it is: If Hoku gave Kama __ dimes, he would still have 5 more dimes than Kama. If Hoku started with __ dimes, how many dimes did Kama start with?

HOKU GAVE (MINUS) 10 DIMES TO KAMA. HE WAS LEFT WITH 15. HOKU STARTED OFF WITH 25. KAMA STARTED OFF WITH 0
25 – HOKU
10 – KAMA
15 – HOKU
25 (HOKU) – 10 (KAMA)= 15 (HOKU)
HOKU ENDED UP 5 MORE DIMES THEN KAMA. KAMA NEVER HAD ANY DIMES TO START WITH.

Hoku gave Kama 24 dimes.Hoku had 29 dimes to start with.Hoku kept 5 dimes for himself. Kama, on the other side, didn’t have any to start with.

hoku has 95 dimes. kama has 5. Hoku has $9,5c. Kama has 50c. Hoku gives Kama 1$. Now Hoku has $8,5c. Kama now has $1,50c.

No there will not be enough. They need 4 more to make 28.
