Mahalo! I had a fantastic day with you all. I learned how to beat Auli’i at NIM, fold a crane with origami paper and make a tangram. I enjoyed watching all of you perform not only at Ho’olokahi but also in your classroom. Alooooooooooha~Aunty Kehaulani

The things that me and my family loved at the Multicultural Festival were the paper cranes, and Japanese Sumi-e. I didn’t know that the there was a game from China called Nim. It was so creative when I was doing the bookmark. But the best part was the pumpkin, Haupia and the mochi was ono. Thanks Kamehameha for letting the second grade students and family come to the Multicultural Festival.

I enjoyed the Multi Cultural Festival today. It felt like I was at the Polynesian Cultural Center. I learned a lot and also got into trouble several times for not listening and following instructions. It really felt like I was in school again.

I really enjoyed the multicultural event. I was really impressed with the the songs, and especially the lion dance. I was impressed with Ian’s Mahalo speech, he worked really hard at home. I also enjoyed coming to the class and going through the different culture activities.

Today was so cool! The lion dance was fun to watch and all the songs and speeches were superb! My favorite activity was the chinese game with the rocks…nim? that was fun. OH and the sticks and the blindfold was tricky. or maybe it was just Hokupa’a who was a tricky dude. Thanks room 15 for a fun day. A hui hou.

Thank you! Today was so much fun.
I’m origami challenged and was beaten very quickly in the Native American game – the one that you’re blindfolded. But I still had a blast. Mahalo nui Papa Hawai’i Loa!
