Papa 1 has been busy this week and will continue to work hard until our Fall break.  In Guided Reading we have been focusing on our Inferring skills, stopping at periods and pausing at commas.  We are also exposing the keiki to expressions they read, so as not to sound boring.  In Writerʻs Workshop we are writing Narratives/Slice of Life pieces.  Our haumāna are practicing the writing process and becoming confident writers.  In Math we will soon wrap up our Unit on Geometry, taking our assessment this upcoming Friday. And finally, we have been learning a new mele, Alu Like.  Ask your keiki about this song.  Have them share their mana`o with you.  Oh, and we are scheduled to receive our iPads very soon.  So, makua please read, sign and send in the iPad Agreement forms ASAP.  Mahalo!!
