In Matthew 11:28-30, Jesus said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

In this passage, Jesus doesn’t promise to get rid of our problems. Instead what does He promise and how can that help us?

Jesus tells us that when we have burden, he is there to comfort us and tell us the right thing to do. He will be the one to enlighten us and make us happy. Jesus also says “he has a burden and that his light so he can help us.” He wants us to learn from him so that we dont have to do any mistakes to make us have a burden.

Jesus tells us that when we have a burden he will be there for us and that he will try to enlighten our load as long as we believe him and love him. He also says that he has a burden and that his is light so he can help us. He wants us to learn from him and share what he does for us, with others. Jesus wants us to h elp each other too.

In these scripture verses, yes Jesus dose not promise that all of problems will be taken care of, of just disappear. Instead Jesus gives us words of advice that can comfort us and take ease off of our minds. God can do anything, but he wants us to have the strength just like him. We must learn from our mistakes/problems and take consideration in them. We may be troubled at times, and need someone to talk to, and God will always be there for you. It is important that we have a great knowledge because that is the only thing that we can take to heaven. If we want to be like Jesus, we must learn form our life experiences and always be prepared for the future to come.

I think that instead of just trying to ignore our problems and just making them disappear, Jesus wants us to do something better. That is why he will help us get through our problems and help us to learn from them. Jesus is trying to help us be better people. If we never learn from our mistakes or problems, we’ll never truely be better people. He will be there for us but Jesus won’t just make them disappear. When you pray to him he’ll be there to listen to and help to realize what you need to do to make the problem better and work out even though it might not be what you think you need to do. Jesus is only here to help us out but we have to carry out his wisdom.

In this Scripture, Jesus is telling us to follow him, but he doesn’t promise that he will take away all of our problems because we need to also take responsibility for ourselves. He is teaching a lesson to have our own faith as well as trusting in him. We need to learn from our mistakes and I think that’s the main moral to this scripture. This scripture is so powerful that he also is saying that he’s always there for us no matter what, but we still have to fight through our difficulties, in order to be as strong as him. Life is just the first challenge, and he wants us to face them with him guiding us through the tough times, having courage and taking a chance, because he will catch you when you fall.

In this scripture Jesus promises compassion, love and forgiveness. To me this means that Jesus will love us no mater what and will forgive us for our sins. Jesus promises to always stand by us and will help us through our hardships. When I am having trouble in life, Jesus is promising to always be there for me and to help me thought it, not completely rid of the problem.

In this scripture I think that God is saying that he won’t fix our problems but give us rest and lighten the burden so that we can figure things out with his guidance. I also think that God is saying that whenever we are troubled that he is there to help us. God also says that he is gentle in heart meaning that he will not judge us and by going to him it will ease the problems. God wants us to follow in his foot steps and we should strive to be our best and with God’s guidance we can do anything. God will watch over us and ease any problems we have.

Jesus tells us in this scripture that he will give us rest if we will take upon his yolk and his burden. To me this scripture talks about giving our soul and body rest after life. Sort of like after death. This burden and yolk that Jesus wants us to take and uphold, in my opinion, is our life. In life we sin and we live. Life is one big challenge that we need to overcome. If we can persevere through life and live and love God, when we go to Heaven, weary and burdened with life, we will have rest.

Jesus does not promise to get rid of our problems but instead he promises to give us rest. To me this rest means: rest for your soul, which can describe the word: peace. Peace can help us because it enables us to understand that one of the purposes of this life is to have burdens. By having burdens we can grow and learn from them and then help others to avoid the same burdens you faced. While we are here on this earth we are being tested and having burdens will only make you stronger.

In this scripture, God is giving us the chance to follow him and be more like him. We wants us to know that we have that possibility. He did not promise to solve every single one of our problems or, prohibit us from making mistakes, but he did give us a chance to live with no burdens. When he tells us to take his yolk and learn from him, he means that we should follow his example and live as he once did. Jesus is perfect and we need to strive to be more like him. Jesus knows that if he were to take away all of our problems and mistakes, that we would learn nothing and be able to learn from trial and error. He is there for us, to help us learn from our difficulties, but it is our job to accept him into our hearts and allow him to do so.

This verse states that Jesus will not completely make our troubles go away, but He is promising to stay with us to help guide us through it. Without the obstacles and failures we face, we would not be able to learn and grow, and without Jesus leading us it is impossible to go through it on our own. Jesus has forgiven you no matter how many mistakes you have made and He still loves us with our imperfections of being human. Everyone goes through hard times and sometimes we think we are alone, but we aren’t. The unconditional love Jesus has for us is powerful enough to get us through absolutely anything life throws at us. This passage can apply to anyone and everyone who has been faced with a difficult situation. We must put our trust in Jesus, for he is our strength at all times. Jesus is the example of perfection, but it is impossible for us to be perfect.

Yes, he did not promise us that he would solve all our problems, so what did he mean? Well, he would comfort us in all our problems but some are for the preparation for heaven. In life, there will be moments when you will be tempted to do something. That could simply be that God is testing you and prepping you for heaven. And all the things you do in life will decide if you go to hell or be greatly rewarded in heaven. Yet your yearning for his love will comfort you more and more. Like the rainbow, the rainbow tells that God would never flood the earth again and is his promise to us.

I think he is telling us that he will help us through our burdens but not take it away. He would guide us through the right path in order to avoid mistakes taken and burdens to be brought. He will not do it for us though, if he did that, we wouldn’t be learning anything.

Jesus doesn’t promise to get rid of our problems but instead he promises to ease our problems. Jesus wouldn’t take our problems fully away because he knows if we have no problems, trials, mistakes, we wouldn’t experience nothing and we wouldn’t learn from any of our mistakes. When Jesus says, “Take my yoke upon you and learn from me” he means that we should learn from his exaple. Jesus is perfect, we should strive to be perfect also. If he took away our problems in life we would have no point in life. Life is about experiencing and learning for the next world to come. To develope a life similar to Jesus’s life. A life to perfect and to live happily.

I think that God meant that he will not take away our problems but he will make it easier on us so that we may withstand it because God only challenges us to what we are able to handle. The reason I think why God won’t take away our challenges is because if these problems, experiences, trials, and fates are taken away, it is possible for us to repeat these problems and it will be a complete circle and of no use or help to us. Through God, our problems will be solved but not taken care of. God is a FATHER, who will NOT take care of your problems for you, but guide you to understand and lead you to success. My example is when my parents used to argue with my grandparents, they lead to sadness and secrecy of telling others. But since my mom reads the bible and basks in God, she started to talk to my grandparents while they were in church.

what i think this means is that he will help us carry our burdens. he will ease our burdens. he will not take it away. he does not take it away because if he does so, we will not learn from our mistakes, or out trials, or our difficulties on life so when we turn to him for help, he will only help us carry our burdens. he will only help us so we can learn from our difficulties. that is why he does not get rid of our problems but helps us through it.
