Aloha mai kākou e nā mo‘opuna a Ka Na‘i Aupuni!  My name is Lilinoe McKeown Kaʻahanui from Nu‘uanu, O‘ahu.  I attended Kamehameha Schools Kapālama and graduated in 1982.  I am a proud mama of 2 grown sons.  I received my B.Ed from U.H. Mānoa in Secondary Education and Hawaiian Language.  In 2004, I received my MLMED from U.H. Mānoa, Masters in Secondary Education Middle Level Emphasis.  I began teaching in 1987 at Waiau Elementary in the Hawaiian language immersion program and moved to Kamehameha Schools in 1993.  I am blessed to be back home at Kamehameha and working with our  pua a Pauahi!

Aloha mai kākou e nā pua a Pauahi!  I am Kumu Noe Hokoana from Waimānalo, Oʻahu.  I am married to Patrick Hokoana, a mother of 5 children, and a grandma of 3, soon to be 4.  I began my path as a kumu ‘ōlelo Hawai‘i when my eldest daughter attended Pūnana Leo o Honolulu and Ke Kula Kaiapuni ‘O Anuenue.  I graduated from U.H. Mānoa with a B.A. in Hawaiian Studies, emphasis in Hawaiian Language, and received a Post-Baccalaureate certification in Secondary Education through a cohort designed for Hawaiian Immersion teachers.  In 2010, I completed my MLMED, Masters in Secondary Education Middle Level Emphasis from U.H. Mānoa and have been employed with Kamehameha Schools since 2007.  I look forward to learning with our haumāna each and every year in hopes to inspire them to continue their love for our ‘ōlelo makuahine.
