Useful web tools for the Flipped Classroom
- YouTube – always a great resource for hosting videos, for free
- Vimeo – another hosting option
- Screenr – create free, 5 minute screen recordings
- PowToon – free with fewer options, but still a great tool to create & host professional looking tutorial style videos.
- Google Forms – create a simple fill-in-the-blank, multiple choice, short answer, essay, etc. style questionnaire (good for quick quizzes too)
- Poll Everywhere – set up questions to be answered via text, PC, or tablet
- Socrative – a student response system that student access from their device of choice (laptop, phone, tablet)
- TodaysMeet – create a back channel for your presentation or discussion.
- Discussion Boards, Wikis, & Blogs work well for collaborative approaches
