Ho`olaule`a Grant Awardees

Beginning in 2011, all high school students that apply and receive Ho`olaule`a grants will be required to “give back,” by working a required number of hours.  Students reeiving non-travel awards, 8 hours.  For students receiving travel assistance the requirements are as follows:  Inter-island 8 hours, Mainland 12 hours, International 16 hours.  A minimum of 4 hours are rquired on the event day.  Additional hours can be worked prior to the event on food prep days or by arrangement with the event chair.  A student’s family members may work at the event and assist the student in completing the required number of hours.
