Today we will be taking a pre-test on Ch. 2 in our Prentice-Hall book on the computer. Ch. 2 is all about data analysis and statistics. You will be presenting your Math in the News article, and then we will play a fun game called Math-O. Happy Birthday Eyan!

Thurs., Aug. 29, Day 3
Today we will be working on our genealogy lesson. You will turn in you Ko’u ‘Ohana paper. Remember: You only need to have 2 great-grandparents. You will have most of the class period to work on the packet for Kamehameha’s genealogy.

Fri., Aug. 30, Day LN
No core classes today! Today you will take the Astronomy quiz. Also, you will get your Math book, and we’ll cover it. We will vote for our Homeroom representative for ‘Aha ‘Opio, and more than likely you will have Study Hall to work on any homework. After lunch, you will have Christian Ed. and Recess.

Today we will be doing service on our campus. We’ll be sorting the recyclables, picking up trash on campus, and cleaning some of the busses. No core classes today!

Today we’re going to learn about frequency tables, line plots, bar graphs, and line graphs.

Extra pono points: How do you like 6th grade so far?
So far, I like 6th grade because the teachers are all very supportive and I am making a lot more friends then I had in 5th grade. 6th grade seems easy and I think that I will enjoy it very much.
So far 6th grade is fun. The classes are easy at some point but other times they are hard. I’m going to try and do good in my school work this year. I want to make sure I finish my work on time.

i love the 6th grade the teachers are so nice.and the homework are ok and i will ask for help when i need it

I love 6th grade. The kulaiwi teachers are really kind and some of the activities we do in class are so much fun.
So far I think sixth grade is challenging but fun. I like all my class and my teacher, well you
