FISH! on Huaka’i

The 5th Graders went on a huaka’i to the Palace Theater to watch the movie, “Big Miracle.” It was a great movie focused on how a whole community joins together to help an ohana of whales trapped in the ice. The movie shared many perspectives on why they should help, but in the end, because it was the “pono” thing to do. The movie shared that we are all caretakers of our world and that we cannot stand by waiting for someone else to get the job done. We all can malama the world! We can change it, one heart at a time! Ka’u I’a… let me know your mana’o on the movie.
