Founder’s Day 2011

The students of Kamehameha Schools across the state celebrated our Founder, Ke Ali’i Pauahi Bishop 180th birthday today. We paid tribute by honoring our Princess with mele and hula. Her vision to help her people thrive in our ever-changing world was by providing Hawaiian children with a great education. Her vision has been a reality for 125 years when Kamehameha School for Boys opened its door to the first students. We, at Kamehameha Schools continue to live her legacy. Join us in a video tour as the students of Kea’au honor her.
