BFFs! Best FISH! Friends!
The students in 5B today chose “homework buddies!” What’s a homework buddy you ask? Students were asked to find someone that they could pair up with to focus, complete, assist, or discuss homework with.
First thing on the agenda for the Homework Buddies…change the name! New name…BFF! “Best FISH! Friend!” The BFF’s will work together using iPads to:
Check if homework is complete, they may sit close on the long bus ride home to complete assignments, FaceTime or text each other when work is done, or if assistance is needed! They agreed that a BFF DOESN’T give answers or let partner copy…that would be pono ‘ole! A BFF supports and encourages you!
The students said they are now going to be “the NO Stamp Crew!” No more red missing homework stamps for them now that they’re BFF has “got their back!” They’re going to get “good grades for days!” (quotes I heard in class today) and Mrs. Ah Hee will be “Sweet, not Salty because all homework will be done AND on time! 🙂 Yaay…go team, go!
