See Ya on the 18th

Check out Boston weather predictions!

Check out Boston weather predictions!

Hi Students,

Leaving for Boston soon and wanted to let you know that my prediction of freezing (to me) weather may be correct! Yikes!  Donʻt laugh too hard! 🙂  The temperatures are expected to be in mid 30ʻs…degrees that is! As you know, Iʻm freezing in our classroom A/C, imagine how Iʻll be in mid 30 weather.  Some reports are a cold front rolling in and predicting snow, just my luck, on Wednesday night or Thursday!  Iʻll try to send you the happenings in Boston, if I am not an ice cube 🙂  Do the pono thing when I am away learning all things techie , like app-smashing (like we discussed in class), flipping our math lessons (like we tried in class), eportfolios (like you are making in class), and hoping to make global connections (like I shared with you about quad-blogging).  While Iʻm learning away from our classroom, use your iPads to look up Boston and maybe send me ideas on what youʻd like information on by posting a comment on this blog post.  Tell me what interests you in Boston by posting a comment AFTER you do a little detective work on this great city!  Iʻll try to bring you to Boston with me by sending it to you on our blog!  (To be done on Tues in class 🙂

Hawaiians in Boston? I hope NOT!:)

P.S. As you check out the weather in Boston…donʻt crack up laughing too hard imagining me with teeth chattering and blue lips or frozen in a block of ice!  heehee!

Have a great long weekend!  Spock ya laters alligators!  See ya on the 18th!  Be good, be pono, swim strong…always with ALOHA!  A hui hou!
