Ohana Alert for the Week of April 8-12

Wow!  Didn’t the past week just fly by…Here’s a quick look on what will be happening for the new week. Heads Up:   The students HAVE weekend homework for this weekend April 6 & 7.  

Looking forward to a kupaiaha (wonderous) week of learning!

Mon., Apr. 8-Day 4: Ekalesia today at Lunalilo Hale.  Dress Whites mandatory.  We’ll be going to the computer lab today to begin our work on our Hilo Legend Feature articles.  Don’t forget that you were required to work on the Hilo Legend graphic organizer (3 legends) over the weekend and continue to collect facts on your topic for the feature article. These will be put up on display at our Hilo capstone project…  We will have library today, don’t forget to bring in your books to avoid overdue fines!

Tues., Apr. 9-Day 5: We will again go to computer lab, we have make up music class today.  Håweo Luncheon to celebrate our March awardees…Kanekoa and Paige!

Wed., Apr. 10-Day 6:  Spring Concert Dress Rehearsal today

Thurs., Apr. 11-Day 1: Huaka’i to Moku Ola with Anake Lilinoe Young.

Fri., Apr. 12-Day 2: We go to computer class again today.  We also participate in the Senior Legacy Health Fair with Mrs. Lee today during P.E.  We have guidance with Mrs. Kaneakua and we end the evening with our last Spring Concert.  Call time will be announced by Mrs. Debus.
