Ohana Alert for Week of Jan. 14-18

Hi Everyone,

Hope you had a restful & enjoyable weekend!  Here is the upcoming week at a glance:

To 5B Haumāna:  Bring in your speech festival selections to class tomorrow.  Youʻll need to make your final decisions as to which Hilo legend or Hilo related speech you will be doing.  You also need to memorize it for the preliminaries at the end of next week.  All students are required to participate, as it will be graded…Speech festival finals will be on Wed., Jan. 30 @ Lunalilo Hale! 🙂

Mon., Jan. 14-Day 4: Library today.  Donʻt forget to bring in your library books to avoid any overdue fines.

Tues., Jan. 15-Day 5:  MAP Testing for Math

Wed., Jan. 16-Day 6: MAP Testing for Reading

Fri., Jan 18-Day 2: Guidance with Mr. Kudo

Heads Up:  Donʻt forget that Monday, Jan. 21 is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day…No School and Tues., Jan 22, we honor our campus security for keeping us all safe!

Hereʻs a glimpse of how we begin our days together with our FISH! Philosophy greeting…we are working on our sharing component in class.  Ask your keiki all about Morning Meetings and the 4 components!
