Silent Night Lyrics

German:

Stille Nacht, heilige Nacht,

Alles schläft; einsam wacht

Nur das traute hochheilige Paar.

Holder Knabe im lockigen Haar,

Schlaf in himmlischer Ruh!

Schlaf in himmlischer Ruh!

Japanese:

Kiyoshi kono yoru

hoshi wa hikari

Sukui no miko wa

Mihaha no mune ni

Nemurita mou

Yume yasuku

Spanish:

Noche de paz, noche de amor,

Todo duerme alrededor.

Entre sus astros que esparcen su luz

Van anunciando al niñito Jesús

Brilla la estrella de paz

Brilla la estrella de paz

Pô la`i ê, pô kamaha`o

Maluhia, mâlamalama

Ka makuahine aloha ê

Me ke keiki hemolele ê

Moe me ka maluhia lani

Moe me ka maluhia lani

Silent night, holy night

All is calm, all is bright

Round yon Virgin Mother and Child

Holy Infant so tender and mild

Sleep in heavenly peace

Sleep in heavenly peace

WIZARD OF OZ!

Now that the production is over, please comment on how you felt the process of preparing for the show went — what went well, what can be better next year, how you felt about the final production result, and what you learned from the entire process.  If you have ideas or suggestions for the future, please also include those below.

Concert Glee Instructions for Aug 27-28

If you have not yet finished recording Pengyou Ting and Iesu Ka Hoola, please finish.

If you are having problems emailing because the file is too large, do the following:  Export your movie from Photo Booth, or drag the movie to the desktop.  If you export it, make sure to add .mov to the end of the file name.  Open iMovie, create a new “large” movie file.  File>Import drag your imported file to the upper timeline.  Click Share>Export Movie>pick “Mobile” and that should make a file small enough to email.  If you still have problems, email me to let me know you tried, and we can try again when I return.

After you have finished, begin learning Natufurahi Siku Ya Leo using the practice tracks.  Practice SAYING the words in rhythm with the voice track.  When you are comfortable with the rhythm, add the notes.  You may practice individually, or in sections, or with a friend.  I will be checking to see how much you have learned at our next class. I am expecting that you will know the words well.

Also begin learning the Jitterbug from Wizard of Oz.  The choir part starts on page 155 of the Wizard of Oz music.  Tenors sing with Soprano 2.  Basses sing with Alto.
