Our Papa Mala’o (Kindergarten Class) in Mrs. Nihipali’s class is learning about living active and staying healthy through exercise and the food that we eat. This morning we talked about the many ways we can live active and be healthy. Our students agreed that eating fruits, veggies and drinking plenty of water will keep you healthy. Others shared playing sports like baseball, soccer, and even karate will keep you active. Today, we participated in a Zumba Fitness Workout! We took our fitness a bit further and did Zumba Toning! The students recycled their juice bottles, filled them with sand to create their own toning sticks. Yes, we worked our muscles and had a fun cardio workout! Mahalo Ms. Lee for joining us!
