More iPad News…

The students had an opportunity to try out a few of the cool learning apps that focus on a number of different content areas like math and social studies.  The tried out the app “Presidents” where they learn facts about the Presidents of the United States.  This app is especially popular as you can challenge a friend while playing and learning!  They also loved the Meteor Math app where you match solve various math problems and blow up meteors when you get the answer correct!  Hereʻs a student comment: “I like it because of how it helps me in all operators in survival mode it helps me to get the math problems fast.”  They also tried out the Stack the States app where they learn all about the states that make up our nation!  What a fun way to learn new things… Students:  Share your manaʻo about these apps that are featured in this post.  Share what you liked and what made it interesting or what you wished the app could do, or what you disliked about it!  Is it worth it to download?  Donʻt forget to explain your comments clearly.
