ʻOhana Engagement Tool Kit – a guide to help you enhance your ʻohana engagement practices
The strategies found in this tool kit are based on existing research and best practices. The foundation of the Tool Kit is a Hawaiian culture-based perspective and may be adapted to fit your culture-based point of view(s).
This tool kit is broken up into 3 core areas Envision, Engage and Evaluate. The user will be guided thru each area to build their capacity. Starting with Envisioning what ʻOhana Engagement is, then developing an ʻOhana Engagement plan to Engage and concluding with understanding why Evaluation is important.
Also included in the Tool Kit are Resources of research and best practices and an Appendix of templates for the user to use and build off of.
