About ITD
The Information Technology Division (ITD) at KS is aligned with KS’ mission, goals and strategic plans and acts as a technology thought leader in offering potential technology options and visions for collaborative consideration by KS Operating Units. ITD supports the execution of activities related to information technology management: application, development, system maintenance, hardware/software solutions, and security provisions.

ITD Internship Description
The ITD Student Internship is a summer program that provides Kamehameha Schools students with the opportunity to learn, develop, and apply relevant IT (information technology) skills in a real world context. Selected students will be trained by IT personnel and provided with guidance and mentoring as they complete IT-related individual and group projects. 

KS’ IT Operations Internship is geared towards students with an interest in IT as a career choice. The internship provides an opportunity for the intern to learn about a variety of IT positions available in IT Operations. The intern will learn about IT Operations through a combination of on-the-job training, projects geared towards the intern’s interest, online learning and a final presentation. The internship also allows the intern to experience KS’ organizational culture. The goal of the program is to provide a balance of mentorship, professional development, and exposure to IT Operations.

If you are interested in pursuing a field of study in Computer Science, IT Operations there are 2 slots open to work with the Information Technology Division.

Location: Kawaiaha’o Plaza
Available Positions: 2 Positions
Dates: June 17th – July 26th.
Days: Monday-Friday (excluding holidays)
Hours: 8:00am – 12:30pm.
Pay: $10.60/hr
