It was another busy weekend at Nae’ole Hale. Friday began with “Keawe/DVD,” as most boys elected to go to Keawe Gym to be physically active.
Saturday was a mellow day in the dorms — many boys checked out with family members who were on island to watch the Spring performance. The performance commenced Saturday evening in Kalama and received rave reviews by all who attended. For Saturday evening’s activity, the boys were treated to “Keawe Big Screen” — as “Maze Runner” played on the gym’s silver screen.
Sunday started with chapel, and an optional mall outing to Ala Moana followed at 11 a.m. The bus returned about 3 p.m. and Keawe was again opened for activity. The evening wound down with study hall and dorm jobs. All in all, it was another great weekend. Only a few more to go!
