Mills Uniform Brochure & Store Information

PE Uniforms may be picked up starting July 1, 2014 from ROYAL HAWAIIAN SHIRT WORKS, 1733 Wili Pa Loop, Wailuku (near Sam Sato’s); phone 242-5888. Hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 4 pm.  Every student is issued two (2) sets of PE uniforms at no cost.

KSM MS hoodie may also be purchased at Royal Hawaiian Shirt Works for $20.00.

Ho‘omaika‘i to Kumu Rob Siarot and his 2012-13 8th grade video class on their nomination for the 2013 Nino J. Martin Excellence in Production Award (Middle School Division)!  Their video, “Growing Ipu”, was featured on the Hiki Nō program on PBS Hawaii in January, 2013.  If you missed the original airing of the show, you can view it via YouTube by clicking here (the KSM video starts at 16:30).   Awesome job, we’re so proud of you!

2013 KS Digital Citizenship Poster Contest, Maui Winner

2013 KS Digital Citizenship Poster Contest, Overall Winner

Maui Middle School eighth grade student, Shania Perry, took the top honor in the 2013 Kamehameha Schools Digital Citizenship Poster Contest.  The contest sponsors, Kamehameha Schools Educational Technology Services (ETS), identified this year’s theme as leaving a responsible digital footprint.  The contest was open to 6th-8th grade students on all three Kamehameha Schools Campuses.  The four finalists from Maui were Koko Casey, Lauren Kanemitsu, Kayla Nitta, and Shania Perry.  Tri-campus students voted online to determine the campus winners and  ETS then selected the overall winner from the three campus finalists.  Shania Perry’s poster was the overall winner, and Lauren Kanemitsu was the Maui winner.  Ho’omaika’i to the four finalists and our two winners from KSM Middle School!

Ms. Vierra & Mrs. Kapisi recently took 28 students to the AMOS Conference (Advanced Maui Optical Surveillance Technologies). Companies and organizations like Boeing and the Air Force Educational Outreach were on hand to help students with hands-on presentations and to encourage them to do well in school, especially in math and science.
