Aloha no! My name is Kumu Lory Aiwohi. Welcome to my website! Here you will find many things for my math classes as well as resources for parents and students alike. For latest postings, click on the link above called Recent Posts.
Allow me to introduce myself a bit more. I grew up on O’ahu and graduated from Kamehameha Schools Kapālama. I am married to Mr. Alma Aiwohi and together we have 4 children, Daisy, Mahonri, Gideon and Teancum. As a family we enjoy being active, playing sports, camping, surfing, hiking and traveling around the world.
This is my 24th year of teaching, my 19th here at Kamehameha Maui. I have a Bachelors Degree from Brigham Young University, Provo and a Master’s Degree from Walden University. I have also graduated from the online instructors training institute and previously facilitated Online A’o Makua Distance Learning Classes with our KS Distance Learning Division. I have also achieved my National Board Certification and am a National Board Certified Teacher (NBCT). I completely enjoy working with middle school students as well as adult learners in and out of the classroom. I look forward to another wonderful year!
