About Kaipo
My journey through life has taught me that everyone walks a unique path. With 15 years of trade and career experience, including 7 years of military service, I’ve had the privilege of guiding individuals through career transitions, life changes, and learning how to navigate the trade landscape and federal space. My background also includes serving as an Army firefighter, with extensive experience in emergency response, fire prevention, and occupational safety—including hospital safety. These experiences have strengthened my ability to support others in high-stakes environments and emphasize the importance of safety, discipline, and resilience. Being from Hawai‘i and understanding the current obstacles our communities face, I offer a strategic approach to support students and families—while also recognizing where our haumāna and alumni are coming from. I’m passionate about empowering others to pursue their goals with confidence and clarity. It’s an honor to serve and uplift our lāhui through education and support.

Best tip for Postsecondary Success: Be consistent, work hard, and stay proactive. Success doesn’t come overnight—it’s built through dedication, persistence, and the willingness to put in the effort even when challenges arise. Hard work creates opportunities and builds resilience, while consistency keeps you moving forward. At the same time, never lose sight of your dreams. Chasing your dreams means setting clear goals, believing in yourself, and taking bold steps toward what inspires you.[/two_third_last]
