UH Maui Dual Credit Class    (KSM: 1 credit & UHM: 3 credits)

Students enrolled in this dual credit elective  math course can receive both high school and college credit upon successful completion of this course (C grade or higher). Credit towards college is determined by the particular institution.

Students meet in my classroom 5 days a week in the Spring semester. They do their online assignments and tests through, collaborating on Mondays Wednesdays & Fridays.  The instructor, Mr. Beran comes to campus to lecture on Tuesdays & Thursdays.

This course utilizes basic statistical topics including measures of central tendency & dispersion, classification of variables, sampling techniques, elementary probability, normal & binomial probability distributions, tests of hypothesis, & linear regression & correlation in order to solve problems.
