This morning, students from kindergarten through 8th grade, joined together at Lunalilo Hale for our traditional Easter Convocation. The program for our convocations are led by students, however, they are guided by Christian Education teachers Miss Shonnie Calina and Kahu Gaymond Apaka.
As always, Kahu Wendell Davis inspires us all by an uplifting, fun and energized message. Today was no different as his message was, quite simply, about how we get the message out to everyone about Ke Akua! He used his visor and several t-shirts as examples. My favorite, “IESU4U”. That Kahu is quite clever!
As Kahu Davis is retiring this year, this was his last K-8 Easter Convocation with us. We already miss you Kahu!
Check out this link for some pictures and listen to some of the performances that were done by our 5th graders and the Middle School Praise and Worship Team. Awesome!!
A special shout out to Middle School Computer Lab teacher Kerry Kamisato for putting this great link together.
