Today there was a 5.8 magnitude earthquake on the east coast of the United States. Twenty-one states surrounding the area of Virginia, the center of the earthquake, felt it. On the news it mentioned that many of the people there did not know what to do. It is not common to have earthquakes on the east coast and many people who live there have never experienced one.
