Game Instructions
Welcome to Nā Kilo Holokai: The Observant Navigators, a voyaging story inspired by the tale of Mo’ikeha! Experience the story one poster at a time and roll a die to shape what happens next. Your goal is to learn about Ho’okele Wa’a through an interactive adventure. Check GooseChase App for learning opportunities along the way!
STEP 1. Prepare Your Crew
Pick up your 3 Kilo cards at the engagement station, a 6-sided die (d6), or use the Navigator App. Your may journey as a team or solo.

STEP 3. At Each Story Poster
Read the story, then roll your die. Each poster features one highlighted ability (Intuition, Adaptability, or Prediction).
Your roll determines which Kilo character leads and their score for that ability determines your outcome level.

STEP 4. Choose Your Path
Traditional Path
Play without the app. Use your physical Kilo cards and die.
Read your outcome directly on each poster as you move through the sequence.
Navigator App Path
Select your current poster in the app and tap the virtual die. The app rolls your active Kilo for that poster and reveals your outcome automatically.
