Our wonderfully talented technology teacher is also a very talented musician. She grew up playing in her school band and still plays today. She was nice enough to bring her instruments into school so that our 1st graders could learn about the clarinet and alto saxophone. As an added treat we also watched a video of Miss Galang marching in her college band at a halftime football game. Playing and singing in a musical organization can be life long endeavor. Thank you Miss Galang!!!
Did you also know that musicians can also go to other countries and join a musical group without speaking a foreign language. MUSIC IS A UNIVERSAL LANGUAGE! Everyone in every country reads the same notes the same way. It is truly and international language!
