Monday, April 16th – Makawalu Presentations for fellow students runs, 8:15-2:30.
Tuesday, April 17th – Makawalu Presentations for ‘Ohana begins at 1:15. You may begin arriving between 1:00-1:10. Please assemble on the sidewalk facing Kina‘u Building. Papa ‘Elima will begin with an ‘Oli and Mele fronting Kinaʻu.

Your Kuleana…
- Your Poster…Make sure you have practiced and mentally prepared for the presentation of your “Feature Research Article” (Poster). Your role and kuleana is that of student kumu. You are tasked with sharing your manaʻo and ʻike with your fellow students and ʻohana, in a clear, interesting, and meaningful way.
- Your Artifact…Make sure you have thought about how you will explain the “symbolism” of your artifact. How does your innovative creation capture the key concepts you have learned and are sharing through your presentation.
- Your Costume…Make sure to communicate the significance of your costume and how it represents the point of view and/or perspective you are presenting from.
- Your Interactive Activity…Remember the purpose of this activity is to engage and hold your audience/visitors accountable for learning from your presentation. Your activity should highlight significant ideas and understandings.
