LIMS Internship Description
The LIMS Student Internship is a six (6) week summer program that will provide Kamehameha Schools students with the opportunity to learn, develop and apply relevant business skills in a real-world context.  Selected students will be trained by LIMS personnel and provided with guidance and mentoring as they complete a final Story Map project on Nā ʻĀina Hoʻolina ʻo Kamehameha. Products that student interns develop may ultimately be used by KS education and/or business divisions.

Student interns will be empowered, under the guidance and mentorship of the LIMS Department, to gain first-hand work experiences in the following areas:

  • Land Records and Surveying (understanding documents and processes related to: deeds/land title, boundary and Land Court Application surveys, conveyance tax documents, etc.)
  • Mapping (utilizing data to create GIS maps)
  • Technology and Information  (understanding the technology and information necessary to support land management)
  • Using tools in the field (understanding the use of tools to enhance the quantity and quality of information)

Location: Kawaiaha’o Plaza
Available Positions: 1 Position
Dates: June 17th – July 26th.
Days: Monday-Friday (excluding holidays)
Hours: 8:00am – 12:30pm.
Pay: $10.60/hr
