Students enjoyed learning a variety of different types of dances from all over the world. Dance is the perfect activity for every age and every energy level. Students learned about the benefits of dancing for them physically, socially, mentally and emotionally. Dances we learned are from a variety of countries as well as different eras ( early 1900’s, 50’s, 60’s and 70’s). Everyone is shy at first, but once they get warmed up it’s a great time.
