ʻAha ʻŌpio Representative

We had our election for class representative on Friday. The speeches were sincere and well done and all of the candidates were strong choices. Congratulations to Papa ʻApapane’s elected ʻAha ʻŌpio representative, Makena. The koala-fications shared in her speech left an impression because her peers selected her to represent them. Congratulations to our alternate, Heaven. With the two girls working as a team, we will have excellent representation in ʻAha ʻŌpio. Mahalo, Makena and Heaven, for your desire to serve your classmates in this capacity. You are definitely developing your hearts as alakaʻi lawelawe.

Mahalo to Adrienne, Kanani, and Kulia, our other candidates who also expressed their desire to serve others. We were only able to select one representative and one alternate, but I would like to invite all candidates to consider being class ambassadors. I want to cultivate their desire to serve others, so our class ambassadors will have kuleana throughout the year. We will have training sessions as needed and I will give all the girls information so they can decide if this is kuleana they would like to accept this year.

We love and appreciate all of our candidates and mahalo them for being willing to be our voice and keep our papa informed.
