Author Peggy Sundberg, also known as “Cowgirl Peg” visited with our kula on Wednesday 11/12/10. She shared with us how she loves animals and how she uses her imagination to write children’s books. Cowgirl Peg writes books that use real animals to deliver messages about character development, personal values, and self-esteem to young readers.
Her presentation included the true story that led to her first book, Lonesome the Little Horse, which relates to friendship & bullying. Cowgirl Peg also shared a little from her other books that included messages regarding responsibility, goal-setting, believing in yourself, kindness and respect for humans and animals and making smart choices.
